- A RESOLUTION COMMENDING AND EXPRESSING APPRECIATION OF THE CITY OF TIGARD
TO LEAGUE OF OREGON CITIES PRESIDENT ELLEN LOWE AND THE STAFF OF THE
LEAGUE OF OREGON CITIES FOR THEIR EFFORTS IN BEHALF OF THE OREGON
DELEGATION TO THE 1976 NATIONAL LEAGUE OF CITIES CONFERENCE HELD IN
DENVER COLORADO.
WHEREAS, the League of Oregon Cities staff provided advance planning
and coordination efforts to the Oregon delegates to the National League
of Cities Conference and as a result, Mayors and Councilmen from Oregon
Cities were able to effectively communicate and discuss issues of concern f

to Oregon Cities and
WHEREAS, League of Oregon Cities staff provided assistance and
information to Oregon delegates which allowed delegates to become more
informed and effective members o_ their respective Councils,
NOW, THEREFORE, `
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Tigard, Oregon that:
Section 1: The individual and collective appreciation of the Tigard
City Council is expressed to the staff of the League of
Oregon Cities through president Ellen Lowe.
