RESOLUTION No. 76- 83
A RESOLUTION BY THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL ACKNOWLEDGING AND EXPRESSING
APPRECIATION FOR THE DEDICATED AND LOYAL SERVICE OF SGT. JOHN R. MURLEY.

WHEREAS, Sgt. John R. Murley has served the citizens of Tigard as
a member of the Tigard Police Department since July,1965; and i
WHEREAS, Sgt. John R. Murley retired from the Tigard Police Department
on July, 1976, partially as a result of injuries suffered in the line of
duty; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to express its appreciation to
John R. Murley.
NOW,;THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
Section 1: Sgt. John R. Murley is hereby commended for his dedicated and
loyal service to the Council, the Police Department and the
citizens of Tigard and in behalf of the community, the City fi
Council expresses their individual and collective appreciation f
for said service.
Section 2: A duly attested copy of this resolution shall be presented
to Sgt. John R. Murley as a record of this occasion.
