RESOLUTION OF CITY COUNCIL ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT OF TRIPLE
MAJORITY ANNEXATION AND RECOMMEND FOR:lARDING TO PORTLAND
METROPOLITAN AREA LOCAL GOVERNMENT BOUNDARY COMhIISSION.
WHEREAS, the City of Tigard has received and reviewed
a petition for annexation of the lands described on the
attached Exhibit "All to the City; and
WHEREAS the petition has been processed in accordance
with the procedures established by the Portland Metropolitan
Area Local Government Boundary Commission; and
WHEREAS, the petition meets the requirements of the
triple majority annexation statute,
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED: The Tigard City Council acknowledges
receipt of annexation petition as attached hereto and made
a part hereof and recommends it be forwarded to the Portland
' Metropolitan Area Local Government Boundary Commission for
hearing and adoption.
