RESOLUTION No. 76-4E�
WHEREAS, the City of Tigard intends to formally apply for assistance under
the Comprehensive Planning Assistance Program authorized by Section 701
of the Housing., Act of 1954, as amended; and
WHEREAS, the applicant desires to submit an application for assistance to provide
a basis for negotiating a grant to support an Annual Work Program; and
WHEREAS, it is the intention of this governing body to propose and coordinate
its Annual Work Program with the Overall Program Design of the State of Otiegon;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council.£or the City of Tigard
THAT the City of Tigard hereby applies for a Section 701 Comprehensive Planning
Assistance grant for the grant period commencing June 1, 1976 and ending
May 31, 1977; and
THAT the Planning Director is hereby authorized to make application for and
in behalf of the City of Tigard to provide such additional information and
assurances as may be required to carry out the goals of the Act, and to .otherwise
act as the authorized representative df the City in connection with all matters
pertaining to the application and any Section 701 grant agreement that may be
executed pursuant to the application.
