A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT OF TRIPLE MAJORITY
ANNEXATION AND RECOb1MEND FORWARDING TO PORTLAND METROPOLITAN AREA LOCAL
GOVERNMENT BOUNDARY COM1&1ISSION.
WHEREAS, the City of Tigard has received and reviewed a petition for
annexation of the lands described on the attached Exhibit "A" to the City;
and
WHEREAS, the petition has been processed in accordance with the
procedures established by the Portland Metropolitan Area Local Government
Boundary Commission; and
WHEREAS,-the petition meets the requirements of the triple majority
annexation statute,
NOW, THE,I�EFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED: The Tigard City' Council acknowledges a receipt of
annexation petition as attached hereto and made a part hereof and recommends
it be forwarded to the Portland Metropolitan Area Local Government Boundary
Commission for hearing and adoption.
