A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING APPRECIATION AND COMMENDING RALPH C. BARKHURST
FOR HIS SERVICE TO THE CITY OF TIGARD AS A PLANNING COMMISSIONER AND z
AS A CITY COUNCILMAN.
WHEREAS, Ralph C. Barkhurst has served the City of Tigard in an
outstanding manner as a Planning Commissioner; and
WHEREAS, Ralph C. Barkhurst has also served the City of Tigard in g
the highest elective office of the City, as a City Councilman, in a '
manner exemplifying the highest ideals of representative government; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the public servica performed ,
by Ralpli C. Barkhurst is deserving of public recognition and that this
City Council desires to express appreciation in behalf of the Tigard
citizenry. '
' NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL THAT:
Section 1: The individual and collective appreciation of the
Tigard City Council and the Citizens of Tigard is
hereby expressed in public document and Ralph C. Barkhurst
is commended for his public service in behalf of the
Tigard community.
Section 2: This resolution shall be forwarded to Ralph C. Barkhurst
by the City Recorder and a copy hereof shall be spread
r upon the journal of proceedings of the City of Tigard.
