A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE COLUMBIA REGION ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENTS
TO HOLD A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE CURRENT DRAFT OF A REGIONAL COMPREHENSIVE
PLAN IN THE CITY OF TIGARD IN ORDER TO PROVIDE TIGARD AREA RESIDENTS AN
OPPORTUNITY TO PROVIDE INPUT INTO THE FORMULATION OF SAID PLAN.
WHEREAS, the Columbia Region Association of Governments (CRAG)
is presently reviewing and considering the adoption of a draft of a
Regional Comprehensive Plan; and
WHEREAS, Tigard area residents should be provided with an
opportunity to provide input into said Plan; and
WHEREAS, CRAG has determined to hold public hearings in cities
which request same;
NOW, THEREFORE,
# BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
Section l: It is desirable to provide a reasonable opportunity for
Tigard area residents to have input into the Regional
Comprehensive Plan as it pertains to the City of Tigard
and its immediate surrounding area. To this end, the
Council hereby requests the CRAG Board of Directors to
schedule a public hearing on the current draft proposal
of the Regional Comprehensive Plan at an appropriate
date and time within the City of Tigard.

Section 2: The City Administrator is directed to trap-mit a copy
of this Resolution to CRAG and to act as a liason
between CRAG and the City in i;he scheduling of the
requested public hearing.
