Resolution No. 75-62 CITY OF TIGARD, OREGON RESOLUTION No. 75 A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A CITY POLICY FOR COORDINATION OF CITY PLANNING ACTIVITIES WITH OTHER AFFECTED GOVERNMENTAL UNITS. WHEREAS, numerous state and federal agencies, special districts and other local governments have programs, own land, and/or have responsibilities within the City of Tigard and its planning area; and WHEREAS, coordination of governmental activities is necessary to serve effectively the public interest; and WHEREAS, proper intergovernmental coordination and cooperation demands that communication be maintained between affected governmental units throughout the process of preparation, review and revision of the City's Comprehensive Plan and implementing ordinances, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Tigard that: Section 1: The City shall develop and maintain a key (attached Exhibit "A") to actions affecting the various governmental units owning land and/or having responsibilities within Tigard and its planning area. Section 2: Opportunities shall be provided those governmental units for their review and comment during the preparation, review and revision of the City's comprehensive plan and implementing ordinances.
