RESOLUTION No. 75-
RESOLUTION OF THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL ACCEPTING THE PUBLIC RESTROOM IMPROVEMENT
CONSTRUCTED WITHIN JACK PARK, IN THE CITY OF TIGARD, AND AUTHORIZING FINAL
PAYMENT THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, the City entered into a certain contract with Slauson Construction Company,
Inc., dated August 7, 1975, for the purpose of documenting terms and conditions for
construction of a public facility, known as Jack Park Restroom Building, within a
City Park in Tigard, Oregon; and
WHEREAS, final inspection of the facility has been requested by the contractor and
conducted by City staff, and certification by the latter has been tendered to the
Council that all work is complete; and
,.t WHEREAS, Slauson Construction Company, Inc. has formally requested continuance of
the contract performance bond, in full force and effect, throughout the required
one year maintenance period in lieu of furnishing a separate maintenance bond; and
WHEREAS, Slauson Construction Company, Inc. has now requested City acceptance of
the work and final payment therefor'r;and'
WHEREAS, all terms and conditions of said contract have thereby satisfactorily
been fulfilled;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Tigard, Oregon, hereby
accepts the aforesaid public improvement(s) subject to the aforesaid maintenance
period; and further
Authorizes final payment as per the terms a-i conditions of the aforesaid
contract.
