WHEREAS, Don Phillips has served for two years as a member of the
Tigard Budget Committee; and
WHEREAS, Don Phillips consistently provided well thought out input
and faithfully attended the many long meetings wherein the
City's budget documents were forged; and
WHEREAS, the Tigard City Council wishes to express the City's appreci-
ation to Don Phillips for his participatory citizenship;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council as follows:
Section 1: The Tigard City Council, in behalf of its members and in
behalf of the citizenry, expresses its sincere appreciation
-co Don Phillips for his competent and faithful exercise
of participatory citizenship as a member of the Tigard
Budget Committee from February, 1974, to September, 1975.
Section 2: The City Recorder is hereby instructed to spread a copy
of this resolution upon the permanent record of the City
and to transmit this resolution to Don Phillips.
