{ RESOLUTION OF CITY COUT:'IL ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT OF TRIPLE
MAJORITY ANNEXATION AND RECOMMEND FORWARDING TO PORTLAND
METROPOLITAN AREA LOCAL GOVERNMENT BOUNDARY COMMISSION.
WHEREAS, the City of Tigard has received and reviewed a
petition for annexation of the lands described on the attached
Exhibit "A" to the City; and
WHEREAS, the petition has been processed in accordance with
the procedures established by the Portland Metropolitan Area Local
Government Boundary Commission; and
WHEREAS, the petition meets the requirements of the triple
majority annexation statute
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED: The Tigard City Council acknowledges a
receipt of annexation petition as attached hereto and made a part
hereo£ and recommends it be forwarded to the Portland Metropolitan
Area Local Goverrunent Boundary Commission for hearing and adoption.

Dear Mr. Clark:
Attached Is "Petition For And Consent To Annexa-
? tion" of properties south of Bonita Avenue executed
on behalf of Southern Pacific Transportation Company.
County Assessor's maps 2S1 12D and 2SI 12A delineating
the properties proposed to be annexed are also
attached.
The petition of annexation is subject,to our -
oral conversation and agreement on Tuesdayt July 22,
to the effect that unwilling landowners would not be
made a part of the annexation, It is, however, under-
stood that the boundaries may have to bo "squared oft"
in order to meet Boundary Commission approval.

organization, reorganization, change of boundaries or termination of any city, county,
or other governmentel district of any nature, or the inclusion of any of its real
property within fhe limits of any proposed or existing city, county or governmental
