Resolution No. 75-40 CITY OF TIGARD, OREGON RESOLUTION No. 75- '/0 A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING THE APPRECIATION OF THE CITY OF TIGARD, OREGON TO THE CITY OF PUEBLO, COLORADO AND IN PARTICULAR FRED E. WEISBROD, CITY MANAGER, AND E. L. WILLOUGHBY, CHIEF OF POLICE, FOR ASSISTANCE RENDERED BY THE PUEBLO POLICE DEPARTMENT IN CONNECTION WITH A TASK FORCE STUDY AND REPORT ON THE TIGARD POLICE DEPARTMENT. WHEREAS, the City of Pueblo, Colorado, through its City Manager and Chief of Police, have performed a Study and Report accomplished by a Task Force comprised of competent and able Pueblo Police Dept. Personnel; and WHEREAS, said Task Force has provided an indepth analysis of the Tigard Police Dept. and has presented a Task Force Report which has been and will continue to be of value to the City of Tigard in identifying areas where improvements can be made and in identifying alternative methods for implementing improvements; and WHEREAS, the City of Tigard desires to express its appreciation for the assistance rendered by the City of Pueblo Colorado: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIGARD, OREGON THAT: Section 1: The City of Tigard hereby expresses its appreciation for the assistance rendered by the City of Pueblo, Colorado by and through its able police department personnel who served as a Task Force to study and make recommendations regarding the Tigarl Police Dept. Special recognition and appreciation _s extended to Fred E. Weisbrod, City Manager and E. L. Willoughby, Chief of Polize «� whose recognition that professional management and provision of police services by all local governmental entities strengthens and enhances the safety and welfare of all persons and that by sharing knowledge and expertise, police service provision can be enhanced. Section 2: Copies of this Resolution shall be forwarded to the City of Pueblo, Colorado by the City Recorder for presentation to the Pueblo City Council, City Manager and the Chief of Police.
