FESOLUTION OF CITY COUNCIL ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT OF TRIPLE MAJORITY
ANNEXATION AND RECOMMEND FORWARDING TO PORTLAND METROPOLITAN AREA
LOCAL GOVERNMENT BOUNDARY COMMISSION.
WHEREAS, the City of Tigard has received and reviewed a
petition for annexation of the lands described on the attached
Exhibit "A" to the City; and
WHEREAS, the petition has been processed in accordance with
the procedures established by the Portland Metropolitan Area Local
Government Boundary Commission; and
WHEREAS, the petition meets the requirements of the triple
majority annexation statute.
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED: The Tigard City Council acknowledges receipt
of annexation petition as attached hereto and made a part hereof
and recommends it be forwarded to the Portland Metropolitan Area
Local Government Boundary Commission for hearing and adoption.

A portion of land includinga lot described in Book 469, Page 54,
Deed Records of Washington County, Oregon, Lots 13-19 of Beveland
#2 subdivision and all Blocks 31-36 of West Portland Heights sub-
division, both being duly recorded subdivisions in said County, also
including portions of dedicated streets and roads and including some
state hig`+way right-of-way, all of which is more particularly described
as follows:
Beginning at a point which bears South 00055' East a distance of
60.0 feet from the southeast corner of Lot 20, Beveland #2, and
being a point on the south right-of-way line of SW Hampton Street;
,. thence running North 00°55' West 136.64 feet to the most easterly
northeast corner of said Lot 20 of Beveland #2, said corner being
a point on the right-of-way boundary line of a cul-de-sac; thence
Northwesterly 93.09 ft. along the arc of a 40.0 foot radius curve
to the right (the long chard of which bears North 24°14'45" West
73.46 feet) to the most northerly northeast corner of said Lot 20;
thence South 89005' West 251.26.feet, morb ar,lbas, to'a'point.on the
east line of the Wm. Graham D. L. C. No. 39, thence North 169.18
feet, more or less, to a point of intersection of said D.L.C. line
with a westerly extension of the center line of (50 foot wide)
SW Gonzaga Street; thence North 890051 East along said center line
of Gonzaga Street 675.68 feet, more or less, to a point on the east
boundary line of said Beveland #2; thence North OOooel East within
S. W. 70th Avenue to a point of intersection with a wezterly
extension of the centerline of (60 foot wide) S. W. Gonzaga Street;
thence Easterly along the centerline of S. W. Gonzaga Street to a
point of intersection with the Willamette Meridian, said meridian
also being the east line of Washington County and the east line of
Section 1, T2S,R1W, UM; thence South along said meridian line to
the southeast corner of the northeast quarter of Section 1, T2S,
RlU,WM; thence Westerly along the south quarter section line of
said quarter section to a point of intersection with the west right-
of-way line of S. W. 66th Avenue; thence Northerly along said right-
of-way line of S. W. 66th Avenue to a point of intersection with
the south right-of-way line of S. W. Hampton Street; thence Westerly
along said south right-of-way line of S. W. Hampton Street to the
point of beginning of this description., excepting those parcels
described as lots 23 through 31 of Block 33 of West Portland Heights,
a subdivision of record in said county.
