RESOLUTION NO. 75 - _
A RESOLUTION DISCONTINUING THE SPECIAL ROAD FUND, AUTHORIZING
TRANSFER OF BALANCE.THERF.IN '"O THE GENERAL FUND AND AUTHORIZING THE
., DEPOSIT OF FUTURE COUNTY ROAD 'PAX REVENUES TO T::E CITY'S STATE TAX
STREET FUND.
WHEREAS, delinquent taxes paid from time to time to the
Department of Revenue and Taxation of Washington County, Oregon,
include amounts levied pursuant to the Washington County special
road levy, which, by its terms, heretofore expired; and
WHEREAS, the City has received from time to time its pro-
portion in distribution of such delinquent taxes, and has deposited
same in its special road fund account; and
WHEREAS, the insubstantial amounts which the City may re-
ceive from time to time in the future from said source do not jus-
tify the continuation of the City's goad fund for this purpose,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF TIGARD as follows:
(1) That all funds on hand derived from dis-
tributions to the City of delinquent taxes received
from the county road levy are hereby authorized to
be transferred to the general fund of the City.
(2) That the special road fund heretofore main-
tained by the City be discontinued.
(3) That all future distributions from the county
from delinquent taxes with respect to the county special
road levy be accounted for and budgeted as part of the
state tax street fund of the City.
