RESOLUTION OF CITY COUNCIL ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT OF TRIPLE
MAJORITY ANNEXATION AND RECOPUdEND FORWARDING TO PORTLAND METRO-
- POLITAN AREA LOCAL GOVERNMENT BOUNDARY COMMISSION.
WHEREAS, the City of Tigard has received and reviewed a
petition for annexation of the lands described on the attached
Exhibit "A" to the City; and
WHEREAS, the petition has been processed in accordance
with the procedures established by the Portland Metropolitan
Area Local Government- Boundary Commission; and
WHEREAS, the petition meets the requirements of the triple
majority annexation statute.
NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED; the Tigard City Council acknowledges
receipt of annexation Fatition as attached hereto and made a
part hereof and recommends it be forwarded to the Portland
Metropolitan Area Local Government Boundary Commission for hear-
ing and adoption.
