A RESOLUTION HONORING AND COMMENDING FLOYD H. BERGMANN FOR HIS _
12 YEARS OF DEDICATED SERVICE TO THE CITIZENS OF TIGARD As

COUNCILMAN AND MAYOR.
WHEREAS, FLOYD H. BERGMANN has served the Citizens of Tigard
in the capacity of Councilman and Mayor from shortly after its .I
into=poration in 1962 to 1974; and .ippi[",r
WHEREAS, FLOYD H. BERGMANN has exercised good judgement which 'w)Iflf=�.
has earned him the respect and plaudits of his peers; and
WHEREAS, FLOYD H. BERGMANN has been instrumental in successfully \\\`
gu iding the City's development during his 12 years of dedicated '
service; a period which has been fraught with challenge and change ;fill�+,':
as the comunity has grown from a population of 1805 to 10,080; and 5'L'^"j•r.
WHEREAS, FLOYD H. BERGMANN has, during that period, given `' •=i;
unselfishly of his time and talents to the benefit of the entire +sY
community; and
WHEREAS, the Tigard,City Council recognizes that such dedicated s`
community service cannot be compensated for but wishes to-record the
Ci ty's appreciation-to FLOYD H. BERGMANN for his dedicated servic^
to the City - A
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that:
The Tigard City Council hereby expresses, in behalf of the entire .�
community, appreciation and indebtedness to FLOYD H. BERGMANN for his s
12 years of service to the Citizens of Tigard as Councilman and Mayor IN�abi=_
during which time he has been a major factor in molding Tigard into
the desirable Community that it is today. L` x'
