A RESOLUTION COMMENDING BETTY JACK FOR HER YEARS OF SELFLESS
SERVICE TO THE TIGARD COMMUNITY AND EXPRESSING THE CITY COUNCIL'S
APPRECIATION FOR SUCH SERVICE.
WHEREAS, BETTY JACK has been actively concerned and involved in { '
communityactivities since the incorporation of the
City of Tigard; and .w••.�
WHEREAS, BETTY JACK has selflessly given of her time and talents .lP
to the benefit of the residents of the Tigard area
through her active participation in park and recreational
activities; and {/tea a3
WHEREAS, such participation has resulted in improvement of Tigard
as a=place to live and work, and if
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to express the appreciation of {{sµ
the community to BETTY JACK for her efforts in the
community's behalf tY
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Tigard City Council that: " 111:•
The City Council, collectively and individ.ally, Ni«
expresses its sincere appreciation, in behalf of the community, a+j
to BETTY JACK for her many years of volunteer service and Leader-
ship in the establishment and improvement of park and recreation
facilities in the City of Tigard and, further, publicly commends
BETTY JACK for her outstanding volunteer service which has improved
Tigard to the benefit of all of its residents.
