RESOLUTION OF CITY COUNCIL ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT OF TRIPLE
MAJORITY ANNEXATION AND RECOMMEND FORWARDING TO PORTLAND
P METROPOLITAN AREA LOCAL GOVERNMENT BOUNDARY COMMISSION.

WHEREAS, the City of Tigard has received and reviewed a
petition for annexation of the lands described on the attached
Exhibit "A" to the City; and
WHEREAS, the petition has been processed in accordance with
the procedures es .. fished by the Portlanu Metropolitan Area Local
Government Boundary Commission; and
WHEREAS, the petition meets the requirements of the triple
majority annexation statute
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED: The Tigard City Council acknowledges re-
ceipt of annexation petition as attached hereto and made a part
hereof and recommends it be forwarded to the Portland Metropolitan
Area Local Government Boundary Commission for hearing and adoption.
