RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZING PARTICIPATION
IN RETIREMENT PROIRAM FOR EMPLOYEES OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT
WITH THE BANKERS LIFE COMPANY.
WHEREAS, the City of Tigard intends to provide retirement
benefits for the employees of the Tigard Police Department; and
WHEREAS, The Bankers Life Company has submitted a proposal
to underwrite a retirement program for the employees of the
Police Department.
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Tigard
as follows:
The Tigard City Council hereby authorizes the City Administrator
to make application and execute on behalf of the City a contract
or agreement with The Hankers Life Company to institute a retire-
ment policy for the employees of the Tigard Police Department.
