RESOLUTIOR OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TIGARD, OREGON, RECOGNIZING MERITORIOUS
SERVICE OF JAMES A PETERSON, JANUARY 10, 1972

WHEREAS, JAMES.- A. PETERSON has resigned from the
office as Commissioner of- the Tigard Planning Commission,
and
WHEREAS, during the period of service as Commissioner,
JAMES A. PETERSON has given liberally of his time and
abilities for the benefit of the Tigard Community and has
performed his duties at all times in a public-spirited and
commendable manner,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council
on behalf of the people of the City, do hereby officially
recognize the dedicated, dutiful and diligent manner in
which JAMES A. PETERSON served and performed thF duties of
Commissioner.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the members of the Tigard
City Council do hereby personally express and record their.
"appreciation for the cooperation and assistance give to
each of such members during the period of service of JAMES
A. PETERSON.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the contents of the fore-
going be made a matter of official record and that a copy
of this resolution be forwarded to JAMES A. PETERSON,
