Resolution No. 71-14 CITY OF TIGARD RESOLUTION No. 71- WHEREAS, the City of Tigard in cooperation with the +r, Tualatin Hills Park and Recreation District, City of Beaverton and Washington County financed a feasibility study for a regional park of 800 acres including a 300 acre lake, and WHEREAS, development of the proposed 300 acre lake was not feasible due to the Unified Sewerage Agency's legal inability to financially participate in the provision of required make-up g water, and s WHEREAS, the Tualatin Hills Park and Recreation District has proceeded with the development of a concept plan for a 320 acre Panno Creek. Regional Park that will serve as a shaping force in the community, and WHEREAS, the concept is in accord with adopted Columbia Region Association of Governments Park and Open Space Plan and the £ City of Tigard's preliminary community plan. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of Tigard, Oregon endorses the concept of a regional park substantially in conformance with the attached exhibit entitled "A' Proposal Prepared by the Tualatin Hills Park and Recreation District for the Panno Basin Park & Recreation Area."
