Resolution No. 70-05 RESOLUTION NO. 70 - 5
WHEREAS, the City of Tigard intends to formally apply
for assistance under the Comprehensive Planning Assistance Program
authorized by Section 701 of the Housing Act of 1954; and
CWHEREAS, the present proposal for assistance is submitted
to provide a basis for negotiating a grant to support an Annual
Work Program; and
WHEREAS, the proposal will (1) develop a series of urban
design studies and plans for ,;elected areas of the City; (2) pre-
pare a park and open space plan for the entire planning area;
(3) revise the preliminary comprehensive plan as required to reflect
the above studies and their review by the Planning Commission and
Council; and (4) recommend modification in the existing land use
regulations to reflect the plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,
THAT the undersigned officer has been duly empowered (1) to
file the proposal for and in behalf of the applicant, (2) to provide
such additional information and documents as may. be required, and
(3) otherwise to act as the authorized representative of the appli-
cant in connection with all matters pertaining to the application
and any grant agreement that may be executed p - uant to the appli-
cation.
