MILREAS, I:LTON C. P11ILLIPS has resigned from the
office as Commissioner of the Ticgard Planning and 'Coning
Commission, and
i; WHEREAS, during the period of service as Commissioner,
Elton C. Phillips has given unstintingly of his time and
j abilities for the benefit of the Tigard Community and has
performed his duties at all times in a public-spirited and
commendable manner,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Citv Council
on behalf of the people of the City, do herebv officially
recognize the dedicated, dutiful and diligent manner in
Which Elton C. Phillips served and performed the duties of
Commissioner.
13E IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the members of the City
'{ Council do hereby personally express and record their aoorec-
iation for the cooperation and assistance given to each' of
such members during the tenure of office of rlten C. Phillips.
BE IT FURTHER RE-SOLVED: That ta,> contt+nts of the
foregoing be made a matter of official record and that a
COPY of this resolution be forwarded to Elton C. Phillips.
