OREGON RECOGNIZING MERITORIOUS SERVICE OF PLANNING AND
ZONING COMMISSIONER

WHEREAS, JAMES N. AITKEN has served a term of
office as commissioner from January 25, 1965 to July 2,
1969, and
WHEREAS, during the period of service as commis-
sioner, James N. Aitken has given unstintingly of his
time and abilities for the benefit of the Tigard community
and has performed his duties at all times in a public-
spirited and commendable manner, .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City
Council on behalf of the people of the City, do hereby
officially recognize the dedicated, dutiful and diligent
manner in which James N. Aitken served and performed the
duties of Commissioner.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the members of the City
Council do hereby personally express and record their appre-
ciation for the cooperation and assistance given to each of
such members during the tenure of office of James N. Aitken.
