Resolution No. 68-09 RESOLUTION
of the
CITY COUNCIL OF TIGARD
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL PRESCRIBING ADDITIONAL
SECTIONS TO BE INCLUDED IN THE PROPOSED SUBDIVISION
ORDINANCE FOR THE CITY OF TIGARD AS SUBMITTED BY THE
CITY PLANNING COMMISSION, REMANDING THE SAID ORDINANCE
TO THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION FOR FURTHER HEARING,
AND SETTING TIME, PLACE AND DATE FOR SAID HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of Tigard has, over a
period of the past year or more, formulated a proposed ordinance
prescribing regulations and standards with respect to the sub-
division of lands and other related matters, including standards
for streets, easements and rights of ways; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the City Council duly
passed at its regular meeting of February 19, 1968, a public
hearing was duly and regularly called and held on March 12,
1968, by the City Planning Commission whereat all interested
persons were afforded an opportunity to be heard with respect
to the proposed subdivision ordinance; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing should be held by the Council
prior to the adoption of said ordinance enabling the Council
to consider the attitude of all interested parties with respect
to the adoption.thereof; and
WHEREAS, after hearing by the City Council, it has been
determined that said ordinance should be amended and supplemented
by the addition thereto of a new title, preamble, Sections A-I,
A-II,A-IIA-IV,A-V, and A-VI, as set forth on the ^ttached sheet
and by this reference made a part hereof, and that the said
ordinance as so amended should be submitted to rehearing by the
City Planning Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City ::ouncil of
Tigard:
(1) That the proposed ordinance providing subdivision and other
land partitioning standards and procedures as submitted by the
City Planning Commission and with respect to which a hearing has
been held by the City Council be and the same is hereby amended
and supplemented to include therein a new title and additional
sections numbered as hereto attached and by reference hereto
made a part hereof.
(2) That the said proposed ordinance as so amended and supple-
mented be and the same is hereby remanded to the City Planning
Commission for reconsideration and rehearing.

(3) That a public hearing by the city @.lanning.Commisalonewith respect
to said ordinance as so amended and supplemented and as may be
�y hereafter amended or supplemented by the City Planning Commission
be and the same is hereby called to be heard on Tuesda the
30tn day of A�-r'l , 1968, at the hour o 8:00 P.M.
in the Council of the City Hall on Main Street in Tigard,
Oregon, at which time and place, all interested persons will be
afforded an opportunity to be heard with respect to the said
subdivision ordinance.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the City Planning Commission
be and it is hereby authorized and directed to publish notice of
said hearing of the proposed ordinance once a week for two successive
weeks prior to said hearing in the Tigard Times, a newspaper of _
general circulation in the City of Tigard.
