RESOLUTION
of the
g CITY COUNCIL OF TIGARD
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIGARD SETTING HEARING
WITH RESPECT TO REPORT SUBMITTED BY THE CITY PLANNING
COMMISSION FOR THE ADOPTION OF AN ORDINANCE REGULATING
AND PRESCRIBING STANDARDS FOR SUBDIVISION OF LANDS WITH-
IN THE CITY.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of Tigard has, over a
period of the past year or more, formulated a proposed ordinance
prescribing regulations and standards with respect to the sub-
division of lands and other related matters, including standards
for streets, easements and rights of ways; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the City Council duly
passed at its regular meeting of February 19, 1968, a public
hearing was duly and regularly called and held on March 12,
1968, by the City Planning Commission whereat all interested
persons were afforded an opportunity to be heard with respect
totheproposed subdivision ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission, after said hearing,
has made its report and recommendation to the City Council that
said subdivision ordinance be adopted by the Council; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing should be held by the Council
prior to the adoption of said ordinance enabling the Council
to consider the attitude of all interested parties with respect
to the adoption thereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
Tigard:
That a public hearing be and the same is hereby called to
be held on the Sthday of April 1968, at the hour
of 8:00 p.M n the Council Chambers of the City Hall, on
Main r�,�n Tigard, Oregon, at which time and place all in-
terested persons will be afforded an opportunity to be heard
with respect to the proposed adoption of said subdivision ordi-
nance.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Recorder be and she
is hereby authorized and directed to publish notice of said hear-
ing in the Tigard Times in one weekly issue thereof within seven
(7) days of the date of said hearing.
