RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIGARD
In Behalf of: EDWARD A. WOODARD
WHEREAS, Councilman EDWARD A. WOODARD has served the
people of the City of Tigard for the two years last past in the
capacity of Mayor with diligence, high purpose and distinction,
and
WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that such meritorious
service should be officially recognized and made a matter of
record,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of
the City of Tigard, in behalf of the people of the City of
Tigard, does hereby officially recognize the diligent, dutiful,
and selfless manner in which Councilman EDWARD A. WOODARD dis-
charged the duties of the offi-c of Mayor in the two year term
expiring December 31, 1964, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the members of the Council t
do hereby express and record the personal appreciation of each
of them for the high-minded and public-spirited leadership during
Mr. Woodard's term as Mayor, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the contents of the foregoing
resolution be communicated to EDWARD A. WOODARD by writing to be
signed by his successor in the Office of Mayor.
