I, the duly appointed, qualified and acting Clerk of the
City of Tigard, Oregon, being custodian of the official minutes of
the proceedings of the Council of said City do hereby certify that
the following is a true and complete copy of resolution adopted
by paid Council at its meeting of January 29, 1962:
"BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Tigard does
hereby elect to request participation in behalf of all
of its eligible employees in the Public Employes Re-
tirement insurance program administered by the Public
Employes Retirement Board, Social Sec¢fit Adminis-
tration, State of Oregon, effective _ .4
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the total n er of
eligible employees on the payroll is
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the foregoing request for
participation is subject to the filing with the City
Clerk in duplicate of a statement verified under oath
before a notary public from the majority of the City's
employees requesting coverage in the Social Security
program and further stating that such request is made
voluntarily, freely, and without coercion."
