AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TIGARD, OREGON,AMENDING CHAPTER 10.28,
PARKING, OF THE TIGARD MUNICIPAL CODE.
WHEREAS,the City Council finds that the definitions for"parking"or"parked"should be
amended to be consistent with state law;
NOW, THEREFORE;the City of Tigard ordains as follows:
Section 1: Seztion 10.28.010(a)of the Tigard Municipal Code is amended to read as follows:
(a) "Parking"or"parked",for purposes of the city motor vehicle code,means the
standing of a vehicle,whether occupied cr not, otherwise than temporarily for the
purpose of and while actually engaged in loading or unloading property or
passengers, or in obedience to traffic regulations or traffic signs or signals.
