DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE(ZCA 96-0006). '

. � WHEREAS,the Tigard City Council held a public hearing on September 24, 1996, to consider a zoning ;
_ designation for four parcels of land totaling 2.52 acres,located south of Gaarde Street and west of 114th € ;.
Avenue. '
WHEREAS, on September 24, 1996, the Tigard City Council approved a resolution forwarding the
proposed annexation to the Portland Metropolitan Area Local Government Boundary Commission;and `r Ejw,F l ;

WHEREAS,the zoning district designation recommended by the planning staff as set forth in the attached
staff report and in Section 1 below is that which most closely approximates the Washington County land g

{ use designation while implementing the city's existing Comprehensive Plan designation of Low Density ;
