WHEREAS, the Tigard City Council held a public hearing on April 23: 1996, to consider a zoning
designation for one parcel of land located along the north side of SW Locust Street, west of SW 92nd
h Avenue;and +

WHEREAS, on April 23, 1996,the Tigard City Council approved a resolution forwarding the proposed
r s' annexation to the Portland Metropolitan Area Local Government Boundary Commission;and
a
a WHEREAS,the zoning district designation recommended by the planning staff as set forth in the attached
s staff report and in Section 1 below is that which most closely approximates the Washington County land :
t ' use designation while implementing the city's existing Comprehensive Plan designation of Medium

Density Residential. a
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: Upon annexation,the affected property shall be designated as follows: -
