AN ORDINANCE AMENDING T.M.C. 10.16.051 AND REVISING TRUCK RESTRICTIONS�?4 � 1,
ON WALNUT STREET
WHEREAS, Section 10.16.051 of the Tigard Municipal Code designates
streets where through trucks are prohibited; and,
WHEREAS, Walnut Street is a street where through trucks are prohibited;
and,
WHEREAS,> Walnut Street is being extended to provide a connection between
135th Avenue and Scholls Ferry Road; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has determined that the prohibition of through
trucks should apply to the street extension.
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: Paragraph 10.16.051 (e of the Tigard Municipal Code is
revised to read as follows:
"S.W. Walnut Street, from Pacific Highway to
Scholls Ferry Road;"
SECTION 2: This ordinance shall be effective 30 days after its
passage by the Council, approval by the Mayor, and
