ORDINANCE NO. 94--21—
'DAN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER SEVEN OF THE TIGARD CODE BY ADDING SECTION TMC
7.36.060, PROVIDING PREMISES FOR THE CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL BY MINORS
PROHIBITED.
WHEREAS, ORS 471.045 preempts all local ordinances inconsistent with the
State Liquor Control. Act, but allows all local ordinances consistent with the
Act, to operate; and
WHEREAS there is no inconsistency between the State Liquor Control Act and
the city ordinance prohibiting the provision of premises for the consumption
of alcohol by minors; now therefore,
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: TMC 7.36.060, Providing Premises for the Consumption of
Alcohol by Minor Prohibited, is hereby added to the Tigard
Code to read as follows:
"TMC 7.36.060, Providing Premises for the consu=tion of
Alcohol by Minors Prohibited. NQ person wbo owns or is in
control of premises shall, !knowingly allow a minor to consume
alcoholic liquor on the premises except as provided in TMC
7.36.030.:1
Providing premises for theco�s�a�t:Lon of alcohol by minors
Albk shall be a Class A misdemeanor.

SECTION 2: This ordinance shall be effective 30 days after its passage by
the Council, approval by the Mayor, and posting by the City
Recorder.
