ORDINANCE NO. 94-p-� _
AN ORDINANCING AMENDING T,M.C. 10.16.051 AND PROHIBITING THROUGH TRUCKS ON
PORTIONS OF O'MARA STREET, FREWING STREET, AND ASH AVENUE.
WHEREAS, T.M.C. 10.16.051(2) establishes the streets within the City of
Tigard where through truck traffic is prohibitedat all times; and,
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the Council that through trucks be prohibited
in the residential areas between Hall Boulevard and Pacific Highway; and,
WHEREAS, in order to achieve this intent, the Council finds that through
truck traffic should be prohibited on O'Mara Street, on Frewing Street, and
on Ash Avenue south of Fanno Creek.
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: TMC Section 10.16.051 (2), designating the streets or
portions thereof where through truck traffic is prohibited
at all times, is hereby amended by adding the following:
" (w) O'Mara Street, from Fall Boulevard to Frewing
Street;
(x) Frewing Street, from Pacific Highway to O'Mara
Street;
(y) Ash Avenue; from Fanno Creek to McDonald Street."
SECTION 2: This ordinance shall be effective 30 days after its passage
by the Council„ approval by the Mayor, and posting by the
City Recorder.
