Ordinance No. 90-37 CITY OF TIGARD, OREGON
ORDINANCE NO. 90-3-'L
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TMC 10.16.051; PROHIBITING THROUGH TRUCKS ON PORTIONS OF
PARK STREET, SCHOOL STREET, AND CANTERBURY LANE; AND FIXING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, TMC 10.16.051 establishes the Tigard streets where through truck
traffic is prohibited; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it necessary to prohibit through trucks on Park
Street, School Street, and Canterbury Lane in order to provide traffic safety
in residential neighborhoods and to protect existing street pavements.
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: TMC Section 10.16.051(2), designating the streets or portions
thereof where through truck traffic shall be prohibited, is hereby
amended by adding the following:
"(t) Park Street, from Pacific Highway to 110th Avenue;
(u) School Street, from Pacific Highway to Grant Avenue;
(v) Canterbury Lane, from Pacific Highway to 103rd Avenue."
SECTION 2: This ordinance shall be effective 30 days after its passage by the
Council, approval by the Mayor, and pasting by the City Recorder.
