Ordinance No. 90-33 CITY OF TIGARD, OREGON
ORDINANCE NO. 90-33
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TMC 10.28.130(40) PROHIBITING PARKING ON A PORTION OF SW
72ND AVENUE.
WHEREAS TMC 10.289.130(40) prohibits parking at any time on portions of SW
72nd Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has heard recommendations from Neighborhood Planning
Organization No. 4, tF'.a Police Chief, and the City Engineer that the parking
restrictions be extended to enhance traffic safety near the entrance to the
Tigard Cinemas and nearby side streets.
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: TMC 10.28.130(40) is amended to read as follows:
"Along both sides of SW 72nd Avenue between SW Duvall Street and a
point 750 feet north of the centerline of SW Baylor Street."
SECTION 2: This ordinance shall be effective 30 days after its passage by the
Council, approval by the Mayor, and posting by the City Recorder.
