j ORDINANCE NO. 87—
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING T.M.C. 10.28.130 PROHIBITING PARKING ON PORTIONS OF
SW VARNS STREET AND SW WATKINS AVENUE, AND FIXING AN EFFECTIVE DATE,
WHEREAS, T.M.C. 10.28.130 prohibits parking at any time on portions of certain
public streets in Tigard; and
WHEREAS, The Tigard City Council has heard a recommendation of the City
Engineer that similar parking restrictions be imposed on portions of SW Varns
Street and SW Watkins Avenue in order to maintain adequate street width for
moving vehicles;
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: T.M.C. Section 10.28.130 designating the streets or portions
r thereof where parking is prohibited at all times, is hereby

11(63) On SW Varns Street from SW 72nd Avenue to a point 125
feet west of the west curb line of 72nd Avenur ,
(64) On SW Watkins Avenue from SW Pacific Highway to a point
75 feet west of the west curb line of Pacific Highway."
Section 2: This ordinance shall become effective on or after- the 31st day
after its passage by the Council.
