AN ORDINANCE OF THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL REPEALING TITLE 8 OF THE TIGARD
MUNICIPAL CODE, KNOWN AS THE "CITY OF TIGARD DOG CON`IROL ORDINANCE".
W;YrCnC, the City of Tigard has adopted the Washington County Dog Control
Ordinance for enforcement by City officers; and
WHEREAS, Washington County Animal Control officers now enforce these rules
within the City limits of 'Tigard through their authority under County rule.
WHERAS, The "City of Tigard Dog Control Ordinance" is no longer necessary as
Washington County law is enforced within the City limits of Tigard.
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Title 8, Animais, of the Tigard Municipal Code is hereby
repealed in its entirety.
Section 2: This ordinance shall be effective on or after the 31st day
after its passage by the Council, approval by the Mayor, and
posting by the City Recorder.
