AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS TO APPROVE A ZONE CHANGE AND
pl-A- AMENDMENT (ZCA 20-86) (SOu ri METZGER) AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

WHEREAS, on January 14, 1987 the City Council held a public hearing to
consider the annexation request and stated their intent to consider plan and
zone designations for the property at a later date; and
WHEREAS, the Portland Metropolitan Area Local Government Boundary Commission
approved a modified annexation proposal on February 12, 1987; and
WHEREAS, on March 31, 1987 the South Metzger residents approved the annexation
by holding an election; and
WHEREAS, the zone and plan designations recommended by the Planning staff as
set forth in Section 1 below are those which most closely conform to those
designations assigned to the properties, on the Metzger Progress Community
Plan Map adopted by Washington County.

Commissioners on May 19, 1987. If not approved, lots 3301 and 3402 will
change from Washington County R-5 to Tigard R-4.5.
WCTM 1S1 35AB lot 3300 (the portion west of Lincoln Street extension) will
change from Washington County 0-C to Tigard C-P if case No. 007-73 is approved
by the Washington County Board of Commissioners on May 19, 1987. If riot
approved, lot 3300 (west of Lincoln Street extension) will change from
Washington County Institutional to Tigard R-4.5..
Section 2: This ordinance shall become effective upon the 31st day after
approval by the Council, signing by the Mayor and posting by
