ORDINANCE NO. 87-- a
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A ZONE CHANGE FOR REMOVAL oe AN HISTORIC DISTBLICT
OVERLAYZONE AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE (ZCHD 87-03 Forrest Cowgill).
WHEREAS, the Land Conservation and Development Commission acknowledged the
City of Tigard Comprehensive Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Land Conservation and Development Commission has placed a
condition on acknowledgment of the City's Comprehensive Plan; and
WHEREAS, the condition placed on the City's acknowledgment is that the City
ensure the protection of sites designated as historic sites by the City; and
WHEREAS, Chapter 18.82.035 of the Community Development Code establishes
criteria for the removal of an historic overlay district designation; and
WHEREAS, the Tigard City Council reviewed the proposed removal of the historic
overlay district for the Tigard Farmhouse and Windmill on May 18, 1987.
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:

Zoning Map changed as shown in Exhibit "A" attached.
Section 2: This ordinance shall be effective on and after the 90th day
after its approval by the Council and signature of the Mayor.
