AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND REVISING THE FLOODPLAIN AND WETLANDS MAP AS AMENDED
BY ORDINANCE 84-36 AND AS ORIGINALLY ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE 83-52 AND SETTING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE. (CPA 29-84)
WHEREAS, the City of Tigard adopted a Comprehensive Plan For the City by
Ordinance 83-52 on November 9, 1953, and
WHEREAS, the City Council amended the Floodplain and Wetlands Map by Ordinance
84-36 to address some LCDC in Order to Comply Statements, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the Planning Commission on January
8, 1985, to consider modifications to the Floodplain and Wetlands Map to
address the intent of the Floodplain and Wetlands development policies, and
WHEREAS, at the January 8, 1985, hearing, the Planning Commission made a
recommendation to City Council, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the City Council on February 11,
1985, for Council consideration of the Planning Commission's recommendations.
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.: Ordinance 84-36 as it amended Ordinance 83•--52 is hereby amended '
by revising the Floodplain and Wetlands Map as setforth in
attached Exhibit "A" to remove the wetlands designation from the
areas outlined in red.
SECTION 2: In order that this may take effect at the same time as revisions
to the Floodplain Wetlands policies, this Ordinance shall be
effective on and after the 31st day of March if enacted by the
Council and approved by the Mayor.
