ORDINANCE NO. 84- 0'7
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. -83-49, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 83-49 adopted Section 10.32.255, Crossing Private
Property; and
WHEREAS, The Tigard City Council wishes to have 'Crossing Private Property'
before Section 10.32.250, Penalties, in order to give more clear direction to
those interpreting the code.
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Section 2 of Ordinance No. 83-49 will be amended to read as
follows:
"Section 10.32.245 - Crossing Private Property, is hereby added
to and made a part of the Tigard Municipal Code as follows:
"Crossing Private Property. No operator of a vehicle shall
proceed from one street to another street by crossing private
property. This provision shall not apply to the operator of a
vehicle who stops on the property for the purpose of procuring or
providing goods o. services."
Section 2: In order to provide clear direction for the interpretation of the
Tigard Municipal Code, and to protect the public health, safety
and welfare of the people of the City of Tigard, an emergency is
hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance shall become
effective upon its passage by the Council and approval by the
Mayor.
