Ordinance No. 84-03 CITY OF TIGARD
ORDINANCE NO. 84-6a
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10.28, OF THE TIGARD MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING TO
SUBSECTION "2" OF SECTION 10.28.090, TO LIMIT PARKING ON A PORTION OF S.W. CENTER
STREET, AND FIXING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That subsection "2" of Section 10.28.090 of the Tigard Municipal
Code, relating to locations where parking is limited to two hours (except on
Sundays and holidays) during specified hours, be, and the same is hereby amended
to read as follows:
"10.28.090 Two hour time limit. No person shall park or leave
standing a vehicle of any kind or character, whether motorized or
not, continuously in excess of two hours, except on Sundays and
holidays, on the following public streets and highways, or portions
thereof, during the hours herein specifically designated:

(2) BETWEEN NINE A.M. AND SIX P.M.:
In the northerly half of S.W. Center Street extending from a
point which lies fifteen feet westerly of a northerly extension
of the westerly right-of-way line of S.W. 87th Avenue to a point
which lies one hundred thirty five feet westerly therefrom."

Section 2: That the City Administrator be and he is hereby authorized and
directed to cause to have the areas in which parking is limited as above set
forth suitably posted in the manner provided by law.

Sectionn 3: That this ordinance shall be effective on and after the 31st day
after its passage by tht Council, and execution by the City Recorder and the
Mayor.
PASSED: By the City Council by unanimous vote of all Council members present,
after being read one time by number and title only, this tj* day of
1984.
