AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 82-71.
WHEREAS, the City of Tigard City Council adopted Ordinance No. 82-71 on
October 25, 1982 defining the Storm Drainage Fund as a Special Revenue Fund,
and
WHEREAS, funds whose resources are from user fees are known as Proprietary
Funds,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The title of Ordinance No. 82-71 is amended to read with bracketed
language deleted and underlined language added as follows: ("PROVIDING FOR
THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A SPECIAL REVENUE FUND FOR SAID PURPOSES;"). PROVIDING
FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A PROPRIETARY FUND FOR SAID PURPOSES;
Section 2. Ordinance No. 82-71 is amended to read with bracketed language
deleted and underlined language added as follows: Section 3. There is hereby
established and imposed upon all premises which have been improved within the
City of Tigard just and equitable charges for storm drainage service or
subsequent service maintenance, operation and extension; and to estalish a
storm drainage (special revenue) proprietary fund for the foregoing purposes.
