CITY OF TIGARD, OREGON
ORDINANCE NO. 83 - 30
AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE CITY OF TIGARD'S ELECTION TO RECEIVE STATE REVENUES.
WHEREAS, the Oregon Revised Statutes (ORS) require the City to declare its
intention to receive state revenue sharing funds.
NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Pursuant to ORS 221.770, the City of Tigard hereby
elects to receive state revenues for fiscal year
1983-84.
Section 2: Whereas, the immediate operation of the provisions of
this ordinance is necessary for the preservation of the
public peace, health and safety, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist and this ordinance shall be effective
upon its passage by the Council, and approval by the
Mayor. I
