Ordinance No. 83-29 CITY OF TIGARD, OREGON f ORDINANCE NO. 83-oZ AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING CHAPTER 10.28, OF THE TIGARD MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING TO SECTION 10.28.130 TO PROHIBIT PARKING ON S.W. LANDMARK LANE, DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND FIXING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. k THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: That section 10.28.130 of the Tigard Municipal Code, relating to locations where parking is prohibited at any time, be, and the same is hereby amended and supplemented to add thereto a new subsection reading as follows: "10.28.130 Prohibited at any time. No person shall at any time park or leave standing a vehicle of any kind or character, whether motorized or not, and whether attended or unattended, within the following defined portions of public streets and highways within the City: ( )Within the right-of-way of S.W. Landmark Lane, extending from the intersection thereof with S.W. 72nd Avenue, westerly to the terminus thereof." Section 2: That the City Administrator be and he is hereby authorized and directed to cause to have the areas in which parking is prohibited as above set forth suitably posted in the manner provided by law. 4 Section 3: Inasmuch as this parking prohibition is necessary to protect the health, safety and general welfare of the public and in particular pedestrians on said street an emergency is recognized to exist and is hereby declared and this ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage and approval by the City Council.
