ORDINANCE NO. 82- 2—b
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 82-46 (LID #22) FOR A TYPOGRAPHICAL ERROR.
WHEREAS, on August 16, 1982 the Tigard City Council adopted Ordinance No.
82-46 approving the Final Costs of street and sewer improvements in the
Southwest Hampton Street Local Improvement District (LID 422); and
WHEREAS, Section 2 of Ordinance No. 82-46 contained a typographical error
quoting the final assessable costs of the improvements within the boundaries
of the Improvement District.
NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section l: Ordinance No. 82-46 Section 2 is amended to read as follows:
"The Council finds that the total final assessable costs of
the improvements within the boundaries of the Improvement
District is the sum of $406,860.54, and the Council further
finds that all lots, parcels or parts of lots within the
boundaries of the District as defined in Resolution No. 81-07
are specially benefited and together shall bear equitable
shares of the cost of the improvement."
Section 2: Inasmuch as it is necessary for the peace, health and safety
of the people of the City of Tigard that this ordinance be adopted with the
least possible delay in order to avoid the possibility of confusion created by
the error, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall
become effective upon its passage by the Council and signature of the Mayor.
