ORDINANCE NO. 82- 36
AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE ZONE OF LANDS ANNEXED BY THE BOUNDARY COMMISSION, ORDER
NO. 1844, AND ADOPTING FINDINGS WITH RESPECT TO AN AMENDMENT TO THE 1970 ZONING
MAP OF THE CITY OF TIGARD TO CONFORM WITH THE NPO #7 PLAN AS ADOPTED AND DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY AND FIXING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

WHEREAS, the Boundary Commission, established pursuant to Chapter 494 Oregon
Laws of 1969, for the Metropolitan Area, by its Final Order No. 1844,: adopted
March 18, 1982, approved the hereinafter described change in the boundaries of the
City of Tigard; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Tigard, in accordance with Chapter 197 Oregon Revised
Statutes, has adopted a Comprehensive Plan which includes the lands within this
annexation.
NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Finding that the lands hereinafter described are now zoned as Washington
County RU-4 and further finding that pursuant to ORS 197, the City of
Tigard has adopted NPO #7 Plan for said lands on February 26, 1979, and that
ORS 197.175 requires cities to enact Zoning Ordinances to implement their
Comprehensive Plans, and further finding that pursuant to procedures, the above
stated Zoning Map Amendment was presented at a public hearing held by the Tigard
City Council on July 26, 1982 and all interested persons were afforded an
opportunity to be heard at this public hearing. The Council adopts the following
substantive findings:
(a) That this Zone Map Amendment is in conformance with the NPO #7 Plan.
Section 2: Therefore, purusant to the requirements of Chapter 18.88 of the Tigard
Municipal Code, this request for an amendment to the Zone Map of the
City of Tigard is hereby approved subject to the provisions of Chapter 18.20 of the
Tigard Municipal Code as embodied in adopted Exhibits "A" and "B" attached and made
a part of this ordinance, the zoning designation of the subject property is hereby
changed to R-7

City of Tigard
A tract of land in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 3, Township 2 South,
Range 1 West, Willamette Meridian, Washington County, Oregon, being
more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 3 of "Leron Heights",
a plat of record in said county; thence around the boundary of
said Lot 3, North 050 04' East 139.68 feet; South 850 00' East
110.00 feet; South 050 07' West 144.28 feet, North 820 36' West
110.00 feet to the point of beginning and including that portion
of the right-of-way of SW Ann St. south of the centerline of
the street adjacent to the north edge of the territory described.
