AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17.09 OF THE TIGARD MUNICIPAL CODE BY AMENDING SECTION
17.09.110 TO PROVIDE FOR AN INCREASE IN THE SUBDIVISION IMPROVEMENISPERMIT FEE.
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS A; FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That Section 17.09.110 of the Tigard Municipal Code, relating to
Subdivision Installation-Prerequisite-Permit Fees be amended to read
as follows:
"17.09.110 Installation--Prerequisite--Permit. No subdivision
improvements, including sanitary sewers, storm sewers, streets,
sidewalks, curbs, lighting or other requirements, shall be under-
taken except after the plans therefore have been approved by the
city, all permit fees and deposits have been paid, and an improve-
ment agreement, in accord with Section 17.06.125, and bond, in accord
with Section 17.06.125, and bond, in accord with Section 17.06.125,
have been executed and filed with the city. The permit fee is
required to defray the cost and expense incurred by the city for
public improvement pian review and inspection service(s) in
connection with the subdivision improvements to assure that the
city's interest therein is provided for; such fee shall be a sum
equal to four percent of the estimated cost of such subdivision
improvements."
Section 2: This ordinance shall become effective on and after the 31st day after
its passage by the Council and approval by the Mayor.
