AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10.28 OF THE TIGARD MUNICIPAL CODE BY AMENDING
SECTION 10.28.030 TO PROVIDE FOR A MOTOR BUS LOADING ZONE; AND FIXING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
THE CY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That Section 10.28.030 of the Tigard Municipal Code, relating to truck,
trailer and bus restriction, be, and the same is hereby amended to
read as follows:
"10.28.030 Truck, trailer and bus restrictions. No person shall
at any time park or leave standing a house trailer, motor bus,
motor truck, tractor frailer, truck tractor nr truck trailer, as c
defined in Section 10.28.010 (c), whether attended or unattended,
on any improved public highway, public street or other public way
within the city limits, for a period greater than thirty minutes,
between the hours of one minute past twelve a.m. and six a.m.,
except within the boundaries of the herein delineated zones during
the designated hours:
(1) Motor Bus Layover Zone - 24 hour, 7 day per week:
(a) Within the Northeast portion of SW Commercial Street,
extending southeasterly fifty feet along the curb therein, from
a point three hundred ninety three feet southeasterly of the
intersection of the southeast right-of-way line of SW Main Street."

Section 2: That the City Administrator be and he is hereby authorized and directed
to cause to have the areas in which designated bus layover zone is
established as set forth suitably posted in the manner provided by law.

Sectio:: 3- This ordinance shall become effective on and after the 31st day after
its passage by the Council and approval by the Mayor.
